SANlight EVO 4-100 1.5 with 265W LED grow lamp – plant lighting at the highest level

For those who want to take their grow tent to the extreme and are not afraid to use CO2, the EVO 4-100 1.5 is the ultimate benchmark. Two lights per square metre produce the highest light intensities, which push the maximum of what plants can process with additional CO2 during flowering. For your vegetative plants, SANlight recommends either using only one light or, to maintain homogeneity, using two lights with the dimmer. 265W and 725µmol/s make a really strong LED light that is not for beginners.

Efficiency is not just a number in the data sheet

With the EVO series, SANlight offers an advanced efficiency of more than 3µmol/J at the module level. However, during development, much more attention was paid to the yield per area and time. In countless empirical tests, the spectrum was optimised in the best possible way. The resulting broadband light spectrum extends beyond the conventional PAR range and offers a far red to red ratio that positively influences photo-morphogenesis, and thus also the quality and quantity of the harvest.

Protection and light control

As in the past, SANlight remains true to its very high quality standards. Thus, over a service life of 90,000 hours, only 10% of the light output is lost. In the development of the EVO series, the protective and light-directing secondary optics were optimised to the geometric dimensions of the luminaire. This results in incredibly homogeneous illumination with the best light intensity (PPFD). The asymmetrical secondary optics also minimise losses when transporting photons to the plants and at the same time protect the LEDs from environmental influences to which the luminaire is exposed during plant cultivation. Sulphur and other chemical substances cannot penetrate to the LED. This prevents oxidation of the LED chip reflector. The optics can be easily cleaned. The protection and the possibility of cleaning guarantee you a constant light output over many years.

The finest technology

From an almost unmanageable selection of LEDs available on the market, SANlight has selected only the best for you. As in previous years, SANlight has chosen the latest OSRAM high-power LEDs for red and far-red LEDs. When it comes to white LEDs, SANlight was convinced by the patented WICOP technology from Seoul Semiconductor. The LEDs with this technology are characterised by the absence of lead frames and silver, making them particularly robust and highly efficient.

Ready-to-dim

Every model in the EVO series is ‘ready-to-dim’. This means that the LED light is compatible with typical greenhouse control systems. Alternatively, you can retrofit the LED grow lamp with the available magnetic dimmer or Bluetooth dimmer. Compared to rotary potentiometers, SANlight dimmers are wear-free and resistant to humidity and water.

Professionalism starts with the cable

In the EVO series, all plug connections are made with high-quality waterproof connectors, which have become established in commercial horticulture over the last few decades. All accessories offered by the manufacturer are designed for the harsh greenhouse environment. This means you can easily and securely configure and dim your system according to your ideas, or connect it to a ‘daisy chain’.

Maximisation

In most grow rooms, filters and ventilation systems are mounted on the ceiling. With the EVO series, the required equipment can be positioned between the LED lights, and not a single centimetre of usable height is lost. Due to their design, lighting systems from other manufacturers have to be mounted under the ventilation system. This wastes significantly more space. This applies to both small grow tents and large professional installations.
